The Marvin Glass/Milton Bradley Classic, Operation, now owned by Hasbro Games, was featured on ABC's Dr. Ken on 8 April 2016 (tonight). Although he's a doctor in real life, he just didn't have the skill to play well against his son. Gameplay was complicated when Dr. Ken's son began asking about the birds and the bees, which made the father uncomfortable; he began touching the sides with is extraction tool intentionally to feign an inability to hear the questions.
This concluded a gaming week for ABC sitcoms. Two days earlier, The Goldbergs featured Adam Goldberg and his friends geeking out on the TSR classic Dungeons & Dragons, which also is now owned by Hasbro, under their Wizards of the Coast division, one of their many acquisitions of the 1990s. Veteran gamers will recall the Gelatainous Cube from the basic manual, whcih was a creature faced in the episode.
